xisupport.debug.log

Post by d.ricks »

We have a Nagios server running where a xisupport.debug.log file keeps getting created in our /tmp directory that grows at a very quick rate, quickly causing performance issues for the Nagios server. Is there any way to determine what is creating this file so we can remove it and keep it from being rewritten?

I assume you are running Nagios XI 5.2.6? Upgrading to 5.2.7 should fix this issue if so:

Is there any indication what causes this file to be created? We have several other servers running the same version of Nagios and this is the only one that has this problem

@d.ricks - A line of debug code from our development staff was inadvertently left in the code for the 5.2.6 release, which was removed before the release of 5.2.7
