Unable to use wildcard for service in Recurring Downtime

Post by cloberjewels »

Hi,

In the Add Recurring Downtime Schedule for the Service it says:
"Optional service associated with this schedule. A wildcard can be used to specify multiple matches (e.g. 'HTTP*'). "
When I use the wild card and click submit I get an error which says:
"The service you specified is not valid for your user account."
If I specify the a full Service name it will accept it.

Am I misunderstanding the use of the wildcard?

Thanks,

This may be a bug on the front end. Probably, the wildcard is interpreted as a literal character. We will do some testing to identify the problem. If it is a bug, we will post it on the bug tracker.
