SMS alerting

Hi;

I am looking for a recommendation for a hardware solution for SMS alerting, I had wanted to use the multitech isms server however that product now seems end of life. Currently we are just using email to text but that's not reliable at times and prefer not to use a service since there are dependencies(i.e. internet ). I have a number of nagios servers installed so a gateway that can be shared would be ideal.

Thanks,
Paul

The only Nagios 'recommendation' I am aware of is the SMSEagle modem.

Hopefully this will work for you, certainly let us know if otherwise, thanks.

Basically, any on-site SMS gateway will work. You generally end up sending it data over your local network unless you have a serial/USB connection to a device plugged into your Nagios server. They're all very similar, so let Google be your friend. :)
