Hi
I am very new to Nagios and need to help
We have installed NagiosIX on AWS using the supplied image.
All is running great.
We have a need to monitor remote Windows 8.1 tablets that are on a clients site behind a firewall and there own VLAN
The set up is :-
Nagios IX on AWS
** Firewall **
**VLAN **
Windows 2012 server behind firewall with internet access
Windows 8.1 tablets that can connect to Win server but not the internet
Is there a way to setup the Windows 2012 server to collect the monitor data from the tablets and then send this on to Nagios on AWS
I hope the above makes sense
Kevin

You need a Windows gateway running NSClient++, which does the checks for you and returns the results to you XI servers on AWS. It's definitely technically possible.
Nagios XI 5.8.1
