VMware config wizard in nagios XI

Hi,
The wizard for vmware discovers all guests correctly.
When trying to apply the config, it fails with this msg:

Code: Select all

    Configurations failed to write to file.

Configuration Error

An error occurred while attempting to apply your configuration to the monitoring engine. Contact your Nagios administrator if this problem persists.

Already tried:
* run /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/reset_config_perms.sh
=> no visible result, config wizard presenting above result was run after the reset_config_perms.sh
* tried dumping all files & rebuilding via CCM
=> no change

Where can I find info / logs to point me how to fix this?

Are you able to navigate to the Core Config Manager and apply configuration directly from there?

To add to this, how many VM's are you adding? I'm wondering if you're hitting a PHP limit somewhere.
