Hi support,
I am using nagiosql as fronted to localhost ( running prod nagios core) and remote nagiosuat host running nagioscore to monitor my uat/test env. Hence i've configured below domain on QL:-
domain "localhost" [default, localhost, user file method[: contains host and services settings required for production nagios.
domain nagiosuat [remote host, use sftp ]: contains host and services settings required for uat nagios.
+ domain common [default]: its empty and default shipped with nagiosql.
My understanding was "common" domian should be used to configure parameter which are supposed to be common to cross domain, like contact's, command's etc. But not sure if i configured it wrong or for any other reason, Command configured in "common" domain 's visibility are limited to domain "localhost" only and it can be used to onfiguring service in "localhost" domain only but same is not possible with in domain " nagiosuat".
Any idea, what i am doing wrong. My goal is to configure command and contact in "common" domain and use it to configure service in both domain i,e "localhsot" and "nagiosuat" to maintain consistency across.
Do let me know if its possible.

Re: nagiosql common vs localhost domain
NagiosQL is not our product, so we can't really provide direct support for it. If you need a configuration frontend for your Nagios install that we can support, I would suggest looking into one of the solutions on the following page:
https://www.nagios.org/downloads/nagios-core/
Either the Core Student VM, Core Pro, or Business options will have our Core Configuration Manager included, which is something we can support.
Otherwise you will need to reach out to the NagiosQL team for support.
