SNMP Monitoring of Load Balancer I/Fs

Post by neil_davidson »

We are trying to set up configuration to monitor an F5 Load Balancer. If we use the 'SNMP Walk' Wizard, it successfully polls the interface information from the device, but not in a useful format. It seems to me that we should be able to use the 'Network Switch or Router' Wizard, since that seems to also just do an SNMP poll of the interfaces, but when we try it gets no response from the device using the exact same SNMP parameters. Does anyone know why the switch/router wizard wouldn't work for the load balancer?

I see that you submitted a ticket for this as well, and generally we like to work on issues at only one place. Do you mind if I close this thread out so we can continue there, or would you prefer to continue over the forum?

Thanks, didn't mean to take the shotgun approach, but I thought someone else might have something to offer here. Please go ahead and close this.
