Nagios Core Installation on Linux Server with RHEL 6.X/7.X

Post by lugger_official »

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum and Nagios/ Linux as well. However, I have an "easy" question:

Is it possible to install/ run Nagios Core latest Version on a Linux Server with RHEL 6/7?
Because if I take a look at https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... 1469100162 I only see ubuntu and CentOS.
Thanks in advance

You should be able to install Nagios Core on a clean minimal RHEL system. You can disregard the very top of the document; There's many sections which include "For RHEL/CentOS users:" in the steps.
