Hello XI Support
We are unable to check LDAP with help of the recent plugin (XI stock binary), while much older CORE plugins still works for us. Please comment and advice on the matter.
Case # 1
- no-security check against host A (not -T/-S) works on standard port 389
- S/-T checks do not work against Host A (with port 636)
- Does work either way from the much older CORE install
Case # 2
- Host B requires security-only checks (-S)
We are unable to bind to it from XI, but can do so from much older CORE
Which LDAP plugin would be the best option to use?
Thanks,
Dimitri
Could not bind to the LDAP server
Re: Could not bind to the LDAP server
If you have it already working on Core, then there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Why don't you just setup a check mirrored to the plugin that you were using in the past? Can you show us the different service definitions?

Updated LDAP Wizard had finally worked for us
Please close this case

Glad to hear that resolved it. Going to close this one up.
