RRD files data feeding

Hi Team,

We are working on SLA and would like to know if there is any possibility to feed the data in rrd files so that the availability of the device shows up during the time when there is network fluctuation. What is happening here is, whenever there is a network outage, our ping is showing the device is down. Officially if I check the device uptime or availability, it is showing 100%.
Can we feed the data in RRD files during that instance. is there any way to do that. If yes, please advise how can I achieve this? thanks.
