Hi all.
I thought up a possible issue. I have service config files called "UPS" that cover ~6 UPS related services. All 6 files are named UPS but their descriptions give details as to whether they cover voltage, battery, etc. These files are linked to around 200 UPS devices. Will I be able to remove one of the UPS devices without removing the service files? I know that in order to delete a host, you have to delete the associated services but naturally this could be a problem where I have the same services applied to 200 devices. Any thoughts?

Re: Monitoring several hosts with the same config files
Instead of assigning a service to a host, you can assign it to a host group. After this, you can add/remove hosts (members of this host group) without the need to deal with the service.
