Bulk modification for templates

Hi,
I am trying to remove templates on all hosts, since my hosts are in the hostgroups, i can just assign the templates to hostgroup instead.
XI has change template under the bulk modification, but is there any way to remove ?

Sure is XI > Configure > Core Config Manager > Bulk Modifications Tool > Change Templates not working for you? It's an Enterprise feature so I'm not sure if that's related to your use. What version of XI are you using?

I already tried that but "change template" dont work.
anyway i just found out that the host must have a template, regardless of the hostgroup has a template or not.

A host is NOT required to have a template. Are you sure you want to close this thread?

In 2014R2.6 you can't even add a template to a HG in CCM. Is this a new feature in 5.x.y? Just curious...
