Error SNMP - PLug will show as critical if can connect

I monitor LINUX Servers via SNMP. if for some reason SNMP is not running on the client, the alert will show up as CRITICAL. I would like to show up as UNKNOWN.
is that possible?

It would depend on the specific snmp plugin being used since our wizards leverage a few different ones. You could probably write a wrapper script to re-write the exit code from 2 to 3 though for your specific checks.
