Adding a MIB then using it to pick checks

I'm trying to add a generic UPS-MIB which works in my MIB-Browser app.

the mib format looks like this:

the mib is called UPS-MIB.mib

when i upload to nagiosxi
UPS-MIB UPS-MIB.mib apache apache rw-rw-r-- 2016-12-05 15:51:31

but i'm not sure how i can get it use that mib in the SNMP Walk wizard.

is the format of the mib incorrect?

i've now copied the mib into /usr/share/snmp/mibs

How did you install this MIB? Did you use https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=73 ?
