I've successfully added the vcenter server, and am monitoring all my ESX hosts using VMware vMA Settings Manager (Version: 2015-12-19 Date: 2015-12-19 Author: Troy Lea, Nagios Enterprises, LLC ) and VMware Virtualization Wizard Version: 2014-10-23, Date: 2014-10-23, Author: Troy Lea, Nagios Enterprises, LLC
However, when I try to add a guest using the wizard it comes up with
vMA Component Not Installed OR you have not yet added any vMA Hosts OR any VMware Servers
I'm confused. It seems like if I manually create the host/service checks it works - but I'm not sure that I'm getting all the syntax right/that is a painful process. Any idea what that error means?

Can you send a screenshot of the component Edit Settings > VMware vMA Settings Manager page?

Yes that is what I was looking for. Can you also send a screenshot showing the error:

Re: issues adding guests in VMware Virtualization Wizard
Seeing as you are able to add hosts I suspect there is a bug in the box293_check_vmware plugin.
