Hi Team,
Could you please provide answers to below questions?
1. Regarding text messages, is this included in the license or maintenance cost or user need to procure short code kind of service from telco ?Any documentation for mobile alerts?
2. If Nrpe client or any other plugin is installed on servers for monitoring applications so it will impact existing infrastructure i.e. What is the overall impact of this monitoring on systems performance ? is there any stat or figure available on Nagios release documentation?
Thanks and Regards,
Naman

You would need to pay for SMS. I'm not sure what you could do with a service like Google Voice, or if it violates their terms, but it might be worth looking into.njain213 wrote: 1. Depending on how detailed you want to get, there is a lot of documentation out there. I suppose https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf is a good place to start.
We don't have enough information to really answer this, but you can use https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ements.pdf as a guide. If performance becomes an issue, you can do things like use a ramdisk or offload your db. These make the installs more complicated are certainly required in some cases.2.
