Can the Archived Snapshots be compressed?

Can the Archived Snapshots be compressed?

Hi All
On the attached pic you can see our Backup & Maintenance settings.
Is there a way to copress the archieved Snapshots?
19 Days of Backup is take up a place of 900GB.

They are already compressed actually, there isn't much that can be done further at this point.
