Hello Nagios!

Quick question is there any way to stop Nagsio-XI from renaming my Service Dependencies config_name?
Example

I go to import a service dependency file containing the below config.
define servicedependency {
config_name ajnr maint
dependent_host_name hwmaint24
dependent_service_description H10 - ajnr - jserv 1
host_name hwmaint24
service_description Maintenance Page - ajnr - hwmaint.anjr.org
inherits_parent 1
execution_failure_criteria w,u,c,
notification_failure_criteria w,u,c,
dependency_period 24x7

}

After importing it, verifying the config and restarting nagios it shows up with a config_name of Import 1484327380.3643

Is there any way to stop this and keep my original config_name?

This only happens when I import Service Dependencies.

I am not aware of anyway to do this, I can submit a feature request for this if you like?

Yes Please do.

It seems weird that this is the only type of import that changes the config name. It also makes searching for service dependencies more difficult.

I have created FR 10695 for this issue. You can inquire here or via ticket for its status.
