bulk change IP address of windows Hosts

Post by rickje »

Hi,

I need some help:
I'am using nagios XI.

can anyone tell me if there is a method to do the following.
I want to export a list off all hosts started with srv-a-xxx and there Ipaddress.
Then i want to do a bulk change off ipadressen on those selected hosts.
But i want to keep the history off the host when i change the IP Address.

When using "Bulk Host Cloning and Import wizard" the host loss historical data.
But When i manually change the ipaddress of the host i keep the historical data.

regards.

There is not a way to bulk change IP's. The bulk mod tool generally helps with things like this, but with unique variables being changed there isn't much we can do.

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @rkennedy's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
