webinject status

Post by krobertson71 »

I was going to look through more of the webinject documentation and noticed that webinject.org is gone.

Is the plug-in still being maintained? If not, does Nagios have a suitable replacement?

Webinject is still maintained on github (or certainly there are newer versions there than we currently use), but the github documentation is for a different version than what we use. If you update the wizard, the documentation now points to archive.org.

The developers are aware of the issue and at some point will make a decision about upgrading the wizard to a new version of webinject.

To be clear, you do not need the webinject website to use the wizard.

True but the docs that give all the options and definitions to build testcases is helpful.

It turns out the new wizard has not yet been released. I'm not sure why.

The documentation that has been added to the new wizard is available at.
