I am experiencing this issue currently. Did not see any sort of resolution to this thread. Is there any additional info that can be provided regarding this issue.

Thanks,

Are you using AD/LDAP?

XI > Admin > System Profile > Download Profile

Please include the zip file in your response. You can PM myself or other support personnel if you have privacy concerns.

You have a lot of entries in your log like this:

Code: Select all

user nagiosadmin: authentication failure for "/nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi": Password Mismatch
Any ideas what that might be about? You can try an XI > Admin > Reset Security Credentials > Config Manager Backend Password

Change then update the password. Please let us know the result of that.

We use nagstamon status monitor for desktop and user had the wrong password in configuration. I verified it is not longer showing error message but non-admin user's still showing delay in displaying all info for host/service details.

Do they have the delay in email notifications or in the WebUI? We did not write nagstamon, so I'm not sure how much help we can be with that. According to exchange, the email address of the developer is [email protected]

If you create a similar user in permissions, but not imported from AD/LDAP does the problem persist?

If you disable the server in XI > Admin > LDAP / Active Directory Integration > Edit Server > Enable this authentication server does the problem persist?

If i create test user with local authentication rather than AD authentication delay still persists.

@ksafa, it's not clear to me where you are seeing the issue.

Is it all Nagios XI WebUI screens that are causing the issue?

If you click on Service Name and it opens the Service Status Detail page. All you see for about 90 seconds is the Service Name and host name. Then after 90 seconds the rest of the page appears displaying the different tabs such as Overview, Performance Graphs, Advanced Services, Settings, etc. If you perform the same action as admin user the Service Status Details page loads right away without any delay.
