Post by vivekraghuwanshi »

Hi ,

My nagios server is sending alerts "Logical Drive '/dev/sdj' [RAID-0, 1,862.50 GB] is Ready". when i check with dell tolls there is nothing wrong with Harddrive, please help us how i can fix it.

I am using check_openmanage to check hard disk status.
Harddisks are arranged in RAID 0,JBOD

Is it sending notifications or just displaying that information on the status screen? What color is the status? If you are getting unwanted notifications, you can turn them off. I think https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ml#service will be of use.

What version of Core are you using? Was it compiled from source or installed from distro repos? On what OS/version is nagios running? cat /etc/*-release may be of use. Once I know if it was compiled or not, I will be more likely to be able to tell you where your service definitions are located so that you can turn off the notifications.
