How to disable nagios xi contacts

We want to temporary deactivate a lot of our contacts but those are Depend on a lot of contactgroups. What is your approach to deactivate those contacts in order to don't receiving notifications (We are 510 contacts on our nagios xi and can't disable one by one of those).
And If possible, provide your document about Admin > users > Notification Management.

If you have a lot of contacts, you might consider something like this:

Then you can import valid contact.cfg files with notifications disabled to update existing contacts from the CLI.

To disable the Notifications for multiple Nagios Users, go to this menu Admin > users > Notification Management and click on the Notification Preferences tab.
Make sure the Deploy notification preferences box is checked and that the Enable notifications box is un-checked.
In the Template Title field, call the template Disable Notifications and Save the Template.

Then go to the Deploy to Users tab, load that template, select the users and click the Deploy Preferences button.
Depending on how the user accounts are setup, that should disable the Notifications.
