Hi, in Core, when Nagios needs to send a notification about a service check, and there are no contacts defiined by the service, hosts contacts were used; it seems to me Nagiosxi doesn't work this way, am I right, or maybe I missed something ?
TIA

NagiosXI still uses Core under the hood so that logic would still apply, but two important things to note are:
1.) Implied Inheritance only affects contact groups, not individual contacts - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... nheritance
2.) Templates might be in place that are setting contacts which may not be obvious in the CCM

Thanks for the inheritance link, I found it quite useful; the question is solved.
