Hi
What is the best procedure to change from a binary installation to an RPM based installation on RedHat Linux?
Is there an easy way or do I need to create a fresh install?

Change binary installation to rpm based install
Re: Change binary installation to rpm based install
It would probable be best to create a new install.
When an RPM is installed on the server for the first time, instead of running it as an upgrade, it will install it by default.
When the Nagiosxi RPM is installed, it assumed that the system is a clean install and may wipe out the current host / service settings so they would be lost at that point.
