Time zone specifier for Nagios XI

Post by bbackstrom »

We are migrating from Nagios Core to Nagios XI. We have several (hundreds) timeperiod definitions in core that are defined in ET. Our Nagios XI infrastructure is designed to UTC so we cannot change the system config/system setting to be ET. Is there a TZ 'converter' or 'specifier' (or plans for it) for people in our situation? Else, it seems we will have to adjust all these timeperiods 2x/year when the clocks change.

Thank you.

I searched the Nagios Exchange site for a tool you can use to change the time periods for your core files to UTC so they can be imported in to the XI server and didn't find one posted there.
