nsclient secure passowrd

Hello,
How to secure password in the newest NSClient 0.5.0.62.

In the old versions command nsclient.exe -encrypt works but not now

I want to get following settings:

[Settings]
;# OBFUSCATED PASSWORD
; This is the same as the password option but here you can store the password in an obfuscated manner.
; *NOTICE* obfuscation is *NOT* the same as encryption, someone with access to this file can still figure out the
; password. Its just a bit harder to do it at first glance.

This is a NSClient-specific question, you'll want to ask on their forums: https://forums.nsclient.org/t/nsclient- ... sword/4636

It looks like this functionality has been removed with recent versions (like 0.5.x):

Code: Select all

 * Removed encrypt from the API has it has not been implemented for some time
