Post by [email protected] »

I have configured WMI on client server and can authenticate to wmiagent but at end og WMI server config wizard
I get the following error

I upgraded from nagiosxi version 520 to 530.

Still no luck!!!!

Try the solution mentioned in this KB article:

I tried that and there was no change.
My /etc/hosts looks like this:

[root@nagiosxi scripts]# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4 xi-c6x-x64
::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6 xi-c6x-x64
10.10.20.40 phxsanim1

When I run "./reconfigure_nagios.sh" I get the following error:

NAGIOSQL LOGIN FAILED!

Also it looks like my upgrades have been failing. How do I list version from the command line?

Can you share the full output of reconfigure_nagios.sh executed from the CLI of your Nagios XI machine? Multiple steps can produce that message, and knowing which step specifically broke things is massively helpful.

Was SSL enabled on this server? Page 8 and 9 of this documentation contain information pertinent to reconfigure_nagios.sh:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... s%20XI.pdf

Is the server behind a proxy for it's internet access?

Have you edited your system's wgetrc file to account for the presence of a proxy?
