Threshold setting for alerting

Post by Shanmuga_28 »

Hi,
where do we setup the threshold settings when a polled metric crossed the threshold limit in Nagios XI.

Typically that's done at run-time for any given plugin. If you used the configuration wizards, most of them include fields for warning/critical thresholds.

Was there a particular metric you wanted to adjust the thresholds for? Can you navigate to it in the Core Config Manager and share a screenshot of it?

In Nagios XI, for the bulk of the setup the thresholds are set when you run a configuration Wizard, and it asks you what you would like the Warning or Critical values to be.
