I am making changes to Nagios configuration to off-load MySQL to an external server. I am working with dev and preprod environments (2 servers in each) and initially configured MySQL server to be accessed using a VIP. This did not work well and I have reconfigured both Nagios servers--primary and secondary--to use their own instance of the external MySQL data base. I was using instructions in this document https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... Server.pdf. After this reconfiguration Apply Config runs without completion on one dev server and on both Nagios servers in the preprod environment.
I double checked the configuration files and they look ok. How can I troubleshoot this problem?

Please close this incident. I had a problem with cron file permissions and command subsystem was not running.
