Hiya,
I've added users into Nagios XI and I'm prompted with the screen advising X number of users were added successfully. I've restarted HTTPD and the host and the users don't appear (refer to attached screenshot showing 'Successfully added 12 users').
I've tried different users from different OU's, I've dropped the domain controller and added another from the same environment and I've checked my permissions in the domain. I can't see anything obvious as to why the users are added but aren't displayed?
i) Is there a cfg file some where on the host that lists the users that should have been added?
ii) No error messages are shown in the GUI, are there log files on the host I should be investigating?
iii) I'm certain it's not a permission issue in the domain, I've used both my account which has sufficient permissions in addition to the LDAP service account I use for other sites, no changes?
Warm regards;
Jonathon

Re: Add LDAP Users - Shown success prompt, users don't appea
This sounds like a bug that was fixed in 5.4.9 that was caused by password complexity settings. To test you can disable password complexity requirements under Admin > System Config > System Settings > Passwords & Accounts >Password Complexity. If this allows you to add users then you're running into the bug that 5.4.9 addresses.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.

Sorry for the late response, trial expired and only just sorted out licensing. Can confirm, updating Nagios to the latest version fixed this LDAP bug. Thank you.
