I am getting this error message in my log /usr/log/nagios/var

Are these nrpe checks? Are the hosts being checked Windows or Linux? This error is usually a permissions issue. Can the checks be performed successfully from the command line?

yes it is a permission issue on the actual file in the /usr/local/Nagios/libexec
