How to rollback NagiosXI upgrades in case we upgraded

Post by rc00512011 »

Hi Team,

Do we have any facility to rollback NagiosXI upgrade once performed, for some reason i have to rollback the upgraded NagiosXI version to old version, how we will perform it?

Thank you in advance!

There's not a fluid process for this. You'd need to uninstall and then reinstall the old version. You can get old versions at https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... rsions.php

You can then use the backup created during the install.

You could just take a VM snapshot before doing the upgrade and then rollback at that level. The best practice is to stop the VM to do this, although this should not technically be required in most VM platforms.
