I am configuring Nagios XI

Hi:
I have an issue with Nagios XI

Nagios XI - System Info
System:
Nagios XI Version : 5.4.10
cobra.csags.com.mx 2.6.32-696.10.1.el6.x86_64 x86_64
CentOS release 6.9 (Final)
Gnome is not installed



I want to have a metric report from my pings ( basically i need to know who are the host with packet loss listed in order)

I found this sentence in the manual about metrics

"The Metrics component will only display services in the
list that it can corrected detect as being a disk usage based service, hence why some services will not be displayed in this list"

and in this moment the metrics only show CPU Usage, Memory Usage, Load and Swap

How can I correctly configure a Ping or ICMP check to proper generate information who Metrics can manage to show this report

The Metrics component is only designed to show metrics for the 5 service checks in the dropdown.

The php files themselves would need to be modified to show metrics for other services.
