Hello,
When I restart a few of my servers, I am not receiving the e-mail alert that it's being restarted, or cannot be pinged.
Where should I double check to make sure that particular server is setup correctly for e-mail alerts, so I know when a server is restarting?
Thanks!

Re: E-mail alerts
Hello, @MNcomputer. Have you gotten through the starter tutorial on getting email notifications to work? If you haven't here's the link: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf
If you already have notifications working, and you just want to check the notification settings for a particular host, you'd need to open the Core Configuration Manager, click on hosts, and then click on the host you want to modify. Next, click on the Alert Settings tab. You'd need to select notification options that you want to enable. Click on save and then "Apply Configuration".

@MNcomputer, Not a problem. Also, take a look at the screenshot. This is something to look out for. In this scenario when Nagios finds a problem it will recheck 4 more times before sending out an email. If you don't want that you can change the Max check attempts value to 1.
