NCPA Agent on RedHat Linux

Post by tonkaUser »

Hi,

I used NCPA wizard to add monitoring for a RedHat Linux server. CPU/Memory/Disk work fine, but process monitoring gave an error below.
What is causing it?

"The node (service) requested does not exist. You may be trying to access the 'services' node."

Thanks

Update your NCPA config wizard.

That's right, the first step would be to update the NCPA wizard. Thanks, @hrileyFLA. After that, if the problem is still there:
1) make a full backup of your XI system
2) Put the script that I attached to this post in the /tmp/ folder on your nagios server, give it the permissions chmod +x 777, and then run it.

**Do not follow these steps if the version of the NCPA agent is less than 2.1.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks for the script. We're on the latest NCPA agent 2.1.1. Updated the wizard as well. All good now. Great response time. Thanks!
