Support,

I have recently setup Event handler as well, do you recommend event handler or writing a plugin that just run the cleanup when a critical event happens? also, is there a way to us the contact macro from the host for the services? or the contact macro from the services for the event-handlers ?

That is really up for you to decide.

Event handlers can be triggered by those critical events like a service failing, so that may be your route. But I don't exactly know what cleanup you are trying to do.

Your second question has been answered in another thread you created.
