Service has no hosts

When attempting to create a new monitor with the wizard I get the following error:

Reading configuration data...
Read main config file okay...
Error: Service has no hosts and/or service_description (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services/cltsccm01.curohs.local.cfg', starting on line 79)
Error processing object config files!

Please tell me the steps you took to create this service. There is a step to associate a service check with a specific host which may have been missed. This error message typically means what it says. A service needs to be associated with a host or the apply configuration will fail.
