G 'Day Nagios XI Support,

I was wondering if there is anyway of allowing standard users the ability to view the Nagios Event Log without allowing the permissions to restart the Process Engine. I find it interesting that the only way to allow them access to this specific report to give the permissions for "Can see/control monitoring engine:" under the Managed Users section.

Please let me know and as always many thanks,
Danny

you need the Can see/control monitoring engine because viewing the event log is everything that is spit into the nagios log, and this could include sensitive information.
