Nagios XI upgrade failure
Nagios XI upgrade failure
Running a Nagios XI setup with a free license. Clicked on check for updates and it sent me to the downloads where I downloaded the file and sent it to the server. I ran the update and it said to have a clean install. Said nothing about not having Nagios XI already installed and since this was from the check updates option I figured this was okay. I ran the ./fullinstall as told by the install guide it failed. Ran the manual version and it said to not have Nagios installed. However it was too late. I did end up finding out via one of the guides that you can use something within the web gui, but I guess that's for next time. Currently getting 403 errors. Tried looking around and haven't found a solution to this yet. If this doesn't work, is there a way to completely wipe the install completely? If there isn't then I guess I can't use Nagios anymore as I will have to nuke the entire server to start from scratch. Backup solutions are essentially impossible currently, as that's all up to my boss. Though I suppose maybe this event might hurry along my projects for a backup server
