Disk Check for all mounted filesystems or drives

Post by awilson »

Hello.

I've searched, but I haven't found a definitive answer. Our server team wants us to be able to check all of the mounted filesystems (AIX and Linux) or all mounted drives (Windows.) Is there an existing check that will do this?

From other solutions on the forum, it looks like the best thing is to write a wrapper script that builds a list of mounted filesystems/drives and then loops through them using the standard check_disk plugin. Is that the best path? Thanks!

I highly suspect there will not be a plugin that will do this out of the box. Can you clarify this for me though - are you trying to see everything that the Nagios system has mounted, or trying to determine what individual hosts that Nagios monitors have mounted?
