linux redhat log files

Hi,

we have Nagios xi version 5.4.13 vm machine,we need to check log file on linux redhat 6 if the file size non - empty the nagios will send notifications

please send me the commands for that

Use the folder watch wizard to setup a check for file sizes. https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=76 has the steps including a link to https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ng_SSH.pdf for setting up SSH to allow the Nagios server to login to the remote machine and run checks found on that machine. Since the checks occur on the remote machine, you'll want to make sure that the Nagios plugins(https://www.nagios.org/downloads/nagios-plugins/) are installed on the remote machine as well.
