Backups don't contain SNMP
Backups don't contain SNMP
It appears we have lost all of our custom SNMP configurations. We used the backup/restore function to move from one piece of hardware to another. We operated what appeared to be fine for two weeks and finally decommissioned that server. No we are realizing that SNMP is not working on the new server since it is lacking not only the application but also the custom snmptt.conf file we've spent hours getting right. I tried looking through a Nagios backup I have of the old server but I haven't been able to find anything in there. Are there any other suggestions before we bite the bullet and start re-configuring?
Re: Backups don't contain SNMP
I took a look at the backup script and it does not backup the SNMP configurations.
If the old system is gone, you will have to recreate them.
I'll put in a request to get that added to the backup and restore scripts.
