Restoration of NagiosXI to another VM

Hi,

We currently have a NagiosXI installation running on a VM with a CenOS OS. Unfortunately, we had a NAS crash and after restoring, the VM is not behaving as it should.

I am to bring up another VM instance with the same specs, install NagiosXI and restore from backup (i have a daily backup). I have one concern though.
Can I immediately copy the license on the instance or do I need to switch off the other instance first?
