I am getting the following error when I attempt to Apply Configuration.

An error occurred while attempting to apply your configuration to Nagios Core. Monitoring engine configuration files have been rolled back to their last known good checkpoint.

Here is the information that is requested:
CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)

I do not know what is going on to cause this?

Should I revert to the most recent snapshot?

Go in to Core Config Manager -> Services
Then locate the 6 services there. Update their Description fields to remove the illegal characters. I believe it is the comma that it doesn't like.
Update all 6, then Apply Configuration again and you should be good.
