Scheduled Downtime not working

Hello All,
Scheduled downtime is not working in our Nagios XI 5.4.13. I applied this fix a few weeks ago and it worked for a bit and now its broken again.

Are there any other fixes or recommendation out there?

Can you check in /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/recurringdowntime.log and see if there are any errors occurring? Can you send that log with anything that you don't want to show replaced? Also, do the scheduled downtime just not work at all now? Can you please show us a schedule that is not currently working.

Hey Jomann,
The recurring downtime seems to be working. However the scheduled downtimes are not taking affect. For instance when I try to put a single host or service in downtime it never applies.

Please post output of the following command
Are you scheduling these from the Host detail page on the advanced tab or from the scheduled downtime page?

Here is the output
[root@nagios02 ~]# ps -ef|grep nagios.cfg
nagios 4300 1 2 09:06 ? 00:00:21 /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -d /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
nagios 4330 4300 0 09:06 ? 00:00:00 /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -d /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
root 15875 11334 0 09:19 pts/2 00:00:00 grep nagios.cfg
I am doing this from the Host detail page on the advanced tab.

Can you try scheduling the downtime again and then sen the /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log from the XI server

I have attached the log. Just an FYI the downtime is currently working as of right now... but I do experience it break a few times a week.
Would it be more helpful to capture this log when its not working?

Yes, if you could do that when it isn't working that would be great, just add to this thread then.
