To answer your question, no, nslookup will not resolve the problem. It is meant to help troubleshoot. This is likely a problem with teh client not being able to resolve the hostname to an IP.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
