Good morning!
We are running 5.5.2 of Nagios XI, and everything appears to be fine overall. We had an issue with a hung cron job a couple of weeks ago that was causing issues, but outside of that this version has been stable for us. We have noticed a couple of times that we get notifications for problems, but for some reason we are not always getting them for recoveries. This happened again this morning for monitoring on one of our routers. At 6:31AM, we received alerts from multiple devices at one of our sites indicating a problem. After about 5min, all of them recovered, all of the server recovery notifications e-mailed, but nothing in e-mail about recovery from the router. Is this something as simple as a setting? I don't have a way to make the router fail again to test it right now, so I just wanted to see if I'm missing anything or where I would start troubleshooting this.
Please let me know if you have questions.
Thanks.
Scott

Re: Recovery notification inconsistency
There was a bug in Nagios Core that could cause this.
This has been fixed in 5.3.3
