Good Day.
Our Nagios XI GUI / Web Interface is very slow and sometimes times out and loses connection.
The server load and memory usage seems good:
"""
top - 14:32:24 up 149 days, 6:13, 3 users, load average: 0.73, 0.51, 0.40
Tasks: 183 total, 1 running, 182 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 5.7%us, 2.5%sy, 0.0%ni, 91.8%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
Mem: 3916496k total, 2435508k used, 1480988k free, 56120k buffers
Swap: 6160380k total, 445456k used, 5714924k free, 1153432k cached
"""
The server is also in a Virtual Data Center shared with other servers offering web services. None of the other servers in the VDC are experiencing connectivity issues.
Please advise how we can troubleshoot this issue?
Please also advise if more information is required?
Kind Regards,
Gary.

Re: Nagios XI GUI Slow and Disconnecting
Hi Gary,
A few questions about the issue.
1. What version of Nagios XI and operating system are you running right now.
2. What is your current Check Load ( total number of hosts + services)?
3. Have you made a changes to your server since noticing this problem?
Also, if you can send over a system profile, this will help us diagnose the issue. To send us your system profile. Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Save the profile.zip file and upload it to a cloud storage of your choice. You can share a link with me in a personal message.
After you upload the profile please post something in this thread to bring it up in the support queue
Thank you.
