Elasticsearch active (exited)

Post by Itaasi »

Hey

I'm having some trouble with our Nagios Log Server.
About once a day elasticsearch enters the active (exited) state.
Since the first time it happened, issuing the status command for elasticsearch is shown as in the attached picture.

I have also attache an excerpt of the elasticsearch log displaying more details, that might pertain to the error.

What can cause this issue?

How much free space is available of the disks of each of the instances in the Log Server cluster?

The above can been seen if there is over 80% usage.
